Toilet Repair Glasgow
A cistern that will not fill. A flush that runs all night. A pan that will not clear. I repair the bits that fail, and I replace the WC when the china or the cistern is done. You get the price before I start.
Common signs
- A cistern that will not fill, or that fills and never stops
- A weak flush, or a handle that does nothing
- Water leaking from the cistern, the pan connector, or the soil pipe joint
- A pan that is blocked, or that leaves water on the floor after a flush
- A cracked pan or a cistern that is not worth another repair
What I check
- The fill valve, flush valve, and the siphon if that is what you have
- The overflow, so a failed valve is not filling the pan all night
- The pan connector and the joint to the soil pipe
- Whether a repair holds, or the suite needs replacing
- A flush and a dry floor before I leave
Check my card
Every legitimate gas engineer carries a Gas Safe ID card. Ask to see mine at the door, or check my number before I arrive. If an engineer will not show you a card, do not let them near your gas.
Questions I get asked
Can you replace the whole toilet?
Yes. Pan, cistern, seat, and the connections. You can supply the suite or I can price one in writing first.
Is a running cistern the £60 call-out?
A repair on the visit follows the same call-out rules. £60 call-out. First hour of labour included. Parts extra. A planned replacement is quoted in writing.
Blocked toilets?
Yes, when the block is in the pan. If it is further down the drain, I tell you that on the visit.
Where I work
Glasgow and the towns around it. If you are on the edge of the map, call anyway.
