Every legitimate gas engineer carries a Gas Safe ID card. Ask to see mine at the door, or check my number before I arrive. If an engineer will not show you a card, do not let them near your gas.

Do you work in Dennistoun, Parkhead and Shettleston?
Yes. East End terraces and flats are regular work. If you are further out, still call. I will tell you if the run does not make sense.
The boiler is original to the house. Will you still look at it?
Yes. Age is not a reason to refuse the visit. I diagnose it, then I tell you if a repair is honest or if the boiler is done.
How does the £60 call-out work out here?
The same as everywhere I work. £60 call-out including diagnosis and up to the first hour of labour. Parts extra. Further labour £60/hour. Out of hours call-outs are £90.
