How I take work. If something here does not fit your job, I will say so on the phone before I set off.
Me
I am Scott Reilly, a sole trader. SR Heating & Plumbing is me. Domestic natural gas only for gas work. I also take domestic plumbing: leaks, taps, toilets, sinks and bathrooms.
Price
£60 call-out including diagnosis and up to the first hour of labour. Parts extra. Further labour £60/hour. Out of hours call-outs are £90, confirmed before I leave. Further labour after the first hour is agreed before I continue.
Never "from £60". The call-out is £60. A boiler service is £80. A landlord gas safety certificate is £70 per property, up to two gas appliances. A planned sink install is £150 labour, parts extra. Power flushes and bathroom plumbing are quoted in writing.
The visit
I quote before work starts. I can stop a job if it is unsafe, or if access is not there. You pay for work you agreed. I test before I leave.
