City centre flats sit above shops, and Merchant City conversions hide boilers in cupboards that were never plant rooms. Access is through a close, a back court, or a keyed stair. I need the entry details on the call. Parking is tight. I still come. Tell me the nearest loading bay or I will work it out on the street.

Do you work above shops and in Merchant City conversions?

Yes. That is most of the city centre work. Flues, tight cupboards and shared stairs are normal here.

The shop below is open. Will that stop you?

Not if I can reach your meter and your boiler without going through the shop. If the gas intake is in a shared space, tell me. I will not guess on the doorstep.

Can you do an evening visit in the centre?

If I am free, yes. Out of hours call-outs are £90. Agreed on the phone before I set off.
